ADVERSE EFFECTS DATABASE
We will work together to create a database of adverse effects in non-invasive neuromodulation and disseminate this information to interested parties.
Non-invasive neuromodulation involves a series of techniques that seek to modulate the activity of the central and peripheral nervous system through stimulation with physical resources such as electric currents, magnetic fields, light and ultrasound.
These resources have been widely used in clinical and research settings and have been shown to be safe and effective across a range of different health conditions and across different stages of life.
However, although adverse effects are reported sporadically, they are probably more frequent than what is reported in scientific journals.
This project aims to facilitate the collection and dissemination of information on adverse effects in non-invasive neuromodulation.
