Course Objectives:

The course “Update on Non-Invasive Neuromodulation in respiratory dysfunctions” aims to promote the technical and scientific basis for the use of non-invasive neuromodulation techniques in the treatment of respiratory dysfunctions in a safe and effective way for the patient and therapist, as well as disseminating the use of this innovative therapy in the hospital environment.

The course program includes classes on:

- Bases of functional neuroanatomy;

- Bases of respiratory physiology and mechanics;

- Challenges of non-invasive neuromodulation in the hospital environment;

- Scientific evidence for the use of neuromodulation in the hospital environment;

- Management of patients with comorbidities;
