Since 2018, the NAPeN Network has been promoting a scientific event that brings together healthcare professionals, researchers and students from all over Brazil to update themselves on the topic.

In 2018, the first symposium was held at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP), in 2019 the second event was held at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) and in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was held virtually by the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). In its fourth edition, which was held in October 2021, also in virtual mode, the event explored the paths for the incorporation of non-invasive neuromodulation by public health.

In 2023, the 5th NAPeN Network Symposium will be internationalized and focused on the theme of 'innovation in non-invasive neuromodulation'. This is an important topic due to the major changes that are taking place in the area in terms of processes and products, which may allow resources to be used more effectively and efficiently, so that the cost of procedures is optimized, so that national and international groups can collaborate on these objectives and to promote the inclusion of resources in public health care (the theme of our last symposium).

This event will take place online on April 14th and 15th, 2023 and will feature national and international speakers, with subtitles translated into Portuguese and English.
