About the Training:
The Neuromodulation training promoted by the NAPeN network is a short course (106 hours) in non-invasive neuromodulation aimed at clinical application. It involves training in repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) techniques. These techniques are capable of promoting neuroplasticity and have gained prominence in the area of motor and cognitive rehabilitation due to their potential ability to enhance the effects of traditional therapies. The training develops theoretical knowledge of biophysics, mechanisms of action, safety criteria and therapeutic effects in the virtual class model; in addition to a one-week practical outpatient training. The focus is clinical for the use of non-invasive brain stimulation in various clinical conditions. At the end of the training, the participant will be able to apply tDCS and rTMS in their clinical practice.
